For translation, my rates are based on the number of source words, as is standard practice. My rate includes unlimited reviews of copyedited and updated passes of the manuscript, as requested. For copyediting and proofreading rates, I typically charge per hour. Being sensitive to tight budgets, I keep detailed logs (using the project tool Toggl) of the time I spend on your project. I count in 15-minute increments. Work logs can be provided upon request after a project's completion. My time is calculated based on actual "desk" time and performing tasks related to your project, so you’ll never be billed for unproductive time. For recipe testing, I charge per recipe plus costs. I respond to all requests within 24 hours.
